Carousel Lace Braid Hairstyle

This hair tutorial will show you how to create a carousel lace braid. This hairstyle is also called a spiral or winding lace braid because of the way the lace braid wraps around the hair going down. Either way, this braid is beautiful and super easy to do. You will need some extension if your hair is too thin. To increase the volume of your hair, you will require searching for the hair extension that matches your hair color.

Let’s get started and create this beautiful carousel lace braid hairstyle:

1. First you need to comb your hair to make sure that your hair is tangle free.
2. Part your hair from the crown and pull it up and secure it with the help of hair clip.
3. Now use the hair extension that you chose.
4. Make it sure that you are keeping the hair extension one inch down the root of the hair. (It is because securing the hair extension too close to the root of hair can pull and it will really hurt.)
5. Now make another partition so that you can add other hair extension.
6. You can tease the area where you are keeping the hair extension. (If your hair is too much thin then you can tease.)
7. After adding the hair extension, you need to curl your hair. When you are curling your hair, hold your hair in the palm of your hand and then release it slowly. This is the best way to get the curled hair for a longer period of time.
8. Once your hair is curled, you are now working to make the lace braid.
9. Take some strand of hair and then divide it into three equal halves.
10. Bring one strand into the middle and take the left strand and place it to the middle.
11. While doing so, you need to add some hair on your left strand and then place it to the middle.
12. Similarly you need to continue doing this until you reach below your ear.
13. After reaching to the end, you have to make a three strand normal braiding.
14. Then you need to bring the braid back to the remaining hair.
15. Take some hair from the remaining hair and incorporate it with the braid.
16. Bring the incorporated hair to the middle and then continue braiding.
17. After braiding some inches, you need to do a regular braiding.
18. Now take this braid around the remaining hair and then continue repeating same pattern.
19. Reaching to the tip of the hair, you will secure the hair with the help of elastic band.
