Let’s get started and create this Mermaid Double Fishtail Braid hairstyle:

1. First start brushing your hair and make sure it is tangle free.
2. You can use some colored hair extension. Since it will add perfect color to the braid and also will your hair highlighted. (You can skip this if your hair is colored or highlighted.)
3. Gather the hair and divide it into the two equal sections.
4. Put other section of hair and tie it with an elastic band.
5. Now start working in a section.
6. Divide this section into two equal parts.
7. Take a small section of hair and then bring it underneath to the right strand.
8. Then bring other section of hair and then incorporate it to the left strand.
9. Continue doing this and tie it with the elastic band.
10. Then continue working in other section of the hair.
11. Do the same with the strand of hair.
12. Divide the section into two equal halves and then continue making fishtail.
13. Take a small strand of hair from the left and then bring it underneath to the right strand.
14. Continue to bring the strand of hair from the right side and then bring it underneath to the left strand.
15. Secure the braid reaching to the end.
16. Make sure you tie the hair of same level of the first level.
17. Take the strand and tuck the left side of braid.
18. Now another section of the braid and then tuck the right side of braid.
19. Now take the bobby pins that befit your hair color.
20. Then you need to use the bobby pins so that your braids get hold.
21. You can use the bobby pin first on the top and next in the bottom.
22. Then use some bobby pins down so that the two braids get hold.
23. Now tie with elastic band.
24. Finally the mermaid double fishtail braid is ready.
